9 Of The Best Things I Ever Bought For Under $40

The other week I received a DM from a reader asking if I could share some of the best purchases I ever made and I thought what a great idea! I love to share the latest and greatest findings with you but rarely share the things I use everyday. We often don’t think about the things we use daily because they have become so ordinary that we ignore their usefulness. So, today I’ve created 9 of the best things I’ve ever bought on Amazon for you that’ll either make your life easier, make you happy, or both. Because of my minor OCD, I’ve split up these purchases into two categories: things that make me happy, and things that I find useful.

Things that make me happy:

Milk frother: It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the first two things listed on my list of best things on Amazon [in my opinion] and that make me happy, consist of coffee items. I prefer espresso to coffee [lattes, cappuccino, double shot espresso, americano, etc] so I use this milk frother nearly every day.

Espresso pot: You can’t have a milk frother without an espresso maker and I like mine made via stovetop. I use this stovetop espresso maker every day as well.

Plants: I have so many plants already but every time I visit the farmers market, I pick up a couple more. They’re such a great addition to home decor- they improve air quality and have been said to improve relaxation/ boost happiness. Plus, they look great!

Books: I’ve talked about the books on my summer reading list, and my love for self help books. Reading books in one amazing way I like to “invest in myself.”  I find it to be the most important guide in self-care/ mental health.

Things that I find useful:

Reusable stainless steel straws: I shared this on my story the other day as I went through the Starbucks drive through. I say no to plastic straws anytime I can, and instead, carry paper or stainless steel straws with me. I’ve made it a habit to put one or two in my purse anytime I leave the house. Read more on ways I’m reducing my plastic consumption here.

Iphone popsocket: One of the best inventions- I use my phone every day and using a popsocket has made it much easier to hold. Simple as that.

Water bottle with a time marker: Like many, I don’t drink enough water throughout the day. This has helped me keep track and on par with the time markers listed on the bottle. Definitely one of the best things I ever bought on Amazon.

Brita water dispenser: We’ve been using this in our house for a few years now. I’ve read some mixed reviews about Brita filters but all-in-all I love it. Cheaper than implementing a soft water system and you feel good about what you’re drinking.

Under eye masks: I wasn’t sure which one to categorize this into because I find it both useful and it makes me happy; either way I love a good under eye mask.
