You might be asking, “What is a duster coat?” Well, a duster coat is a light-weight, longer coat, typically without buttons. My fiancé says they look like glorified robes (LOL). An item that is typically worn in summer, but can be a great transition piece into fall. Some of you might know my obsession for blush pink, silk, and neutrals in general, and this coat hits all the points on that list. Since it is cold outside, I paired it with a cashmere sweater, peek-a-boo lace bralette for some contrast, and suede leggings. I’ve got on all the fabrics I love most: silk, suede, and cashmere. Is there anything better?
Whenever I’m wearing a solid color top, I always, always wear some sort of jewelry with it. It’s a way to “amp up” an otherwise simple outfit. I know dressing fashionable isn’t always the most practical, but it can be when you pair your favorite item with other things. It’s all about how you style it. Yes, this duster coat (which is on sale right now for over 50% off!) is rather lightweight and not exactly something I’d wear without layers in the fall/winter, but I wore it with a cozy, cashmere sweater and super warm suede leggings, and I instantly felt more comfortable walking around outside.
Think practical and fashionable. It’s all about using your own inherent style to tie transition pieces together.
